Ein ganz liebevoll eingerichtetes und gepflegtes Haus mit sehr freundlichem und aufgeschlossenem Personal und einer hervorragenden Küche. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sauber, hygienisch und es gab ausreichend Auswahl.

View was excellent. Breakfast very nice and great quality. The size of the apartment was great. Very comfortable. The game room! Billiard and football table. Children had lot f fun. Also super pet friendly The Guest card with access to the bus and public swimming pool near by. We all had very good time.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage mit einer super Aussicht auf die umliegende Bergwelt, vor allem auf den Eiger und die angrenzende Gletscherlandschaft. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb des eher trubeligen Ortszentrums, trotzdem ist alles schnell per Fuss oder zur Not mit dem Bus erreicht. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend. Schöner Frühstücksraum mit reichhaltigem Frühstücksbuffet was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Zudem ist der Kaffeeautomat den ganzen Tag zugänglich und man darf sich jederzeit mit Kaffee oder einer Tasse Tee bedienen.

Vue magnifique sur les montagnes depuis le balcon. Chambre confortable, pas de bruit. Parking gratuit derrière l’hôtel. Petit-déjeuner bien fourni, sans excès.

Schönes Zimmer, Zimmerbalkon sowie Hotelterrasse mit super Aussicht, angenehm freundliches Personal, gute und gepflegte Auswahl beim Frühstück, Essen im Hotel-Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Der Blick vom Balkon auf den Gletscher und die XXL- Badewanne waren unbezahlbar… ist man einmal da, braucht man kein Auto mehr- alles ist mit Bus, Bahn und Seilbahn zu erreichen… Frühstücksbuffet ist völlig ausreichend und die Küche ist super ausgestattet, das man sich auch selber was kochen kann

This is a well run, clean, friendly, good value hotel in a resort where there are plenty of hotels that are not. The hotel has good facilities, including an excellent restaurant – the menu is short and sweet but our rosti were delicious! If it’s nice enough weather to eat on the terrace, it’s a delightful bonus. The decor is traditional and charming. The centre of Grindelwald can be a bit hectic and the hotel’s position is nice as you’re far enough out to be away from that but not too far to walk in if you want to – although the bus is pretty regular if you don’t. There is a self-service laundry which ended up saving us too.

Beautiful view of the mountains and the glacier. Good location in Grindelwald, walking distance from the center. Free parking. A bicycle storage room was available.

Lage des Hauses am Rande des Zentrums sehr gut, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, auch gute Ausrichtung der günstigeren Zimmer. Sehr angenehmes, bodenständiges Personal, unkomplizierte Organisation des Frühstückes. (Wahlmöglichkeit Terrasse etc.)

Alles 🙂 wir sind mit Bebe und Hund gereist und das Zimmer war gross genug. Super Aussicht, sehr sauber, super Frühstück und ganz nettes Personal. Ausserhalb des Dorfes, deswegen auch ruhig! Das Zimmer und das Bad sind ein bisschen veraltet aber es spielte keine Rolle. Das Hotel war war eine ganz tolle Entdeckung für uns (und wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal in Grindelwald!)

Terrassa enorme amb vistes magnífiques muntanyes. Proxim als telefèrics per fer excursions. Hotel ampli i còmode. Et donen un ticket de descompte pels telefèrics i bus gratuit. Esmorzar molt complet. Accés a la cafeteria tot el dia.

Tolle ruhige Lage und großartige Küche ! Kaffespezialitäten, Kakao und Tee gibt es rund um die Uhr kostenlos 😊😊 Billard, Kicker und Wii ebenfalls kostenlos im Keller, einfach klasse ! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich ☺️ Das Hotel hat eine schöne große Panorama-Terrasse mit Ausblick auf den Eiger. Wir kommen definitiv wieder !

Vom Zimmern toller Ausblick auf die beeindruckende Bergwelt, schöne Wandertipps erhalten, Bushaltestelle ist nahe. Feine, sogar vegane Küche. Es ergaben sich interessante Gespräche mit Raphaela (Reception) – vielen Dank!

Wir sind erst um 21:30 Uhr angekommen. Trotz dieser Uhrzeit machte die Küche nochmals. Das Personal und die Chefin waren sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Von der Hotelterrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge und das Dorf Grindelwald. War toll dort, gerne wieder einmal.

This property has the most amazing views!! It’s about a 10 minute walk to the downtown area and by being just slightly out of town, you get so much more bang for your buck. We had a balcony, free breakfast, free parking, and free kid bed for much less than we would have paid right downtown. Plus, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. They even left the kitchen open to make us dinner when we arrived late. You can eat breakfast in front of the Eiger on their spacious deck and there’s free coffee available 24/7. When we return to the area, we will hands down stay at this property again!

Die Lage des Hotels ist wundervoll. Ein schöner Pfad bringt einem direkt ins Orts-Zentrum und zum Nahegelgenen Berg-Lift. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen und freuen uns heute schon auf die wundervolle Berglandschaft.

Das Hotel ist ein wenig ausserhalb gelegen , die Aussicht ist Atemberaubend. Es ist sehr ruihg und Familiär. Beim Früstück fehlte es an nichts und das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut . Die Grosse neue Terasse mit Tischen zum Essen und Liegestühle zum Relexen ist Traumhaft. Nach dem Essen kann man eine runde Billiard oder Tischfussball spielen. Oder an der Bar das EM Spiel schauen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in das Hotel Gletscherblick.

Alle meine Erwartungen wurden vollstens erfüllt. Leicht zu finden, Zentral in Grindelwald aber nicht zu zentral. Ich habe gut geschlafen und das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker. Alles bestens

Das Hotel Gletscherblick ist ein liebevoll geführtes, ruhiges und sauberes Hotel mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Es überzeugt mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet. Auf den Matratzen schläft es sich hervorragend. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück 🙂

Ein schöner Familienurlaub dank leckerem Frühstücksbuffet und sehr netten Personal. Die Juniorsuite gut geeignet als kleine Familie mit 2 Kindern, nicht riesig aber dennoch groß genug. Das Badezimmer könnte ein wenig mehr Platz bieten. Originell, dass die Kücheneinheit in einem Schrank untergebracht ist. Somit platzsparend aber man hat Kühlschrank, Herd, Spüle alles integriert. Ort mit kleinem Spaziergang gut erreichbar, Gondel First ebenfalls; die Gondelstation Männlichen ist zu weit zu Fuß, da benötigt man ein eigenes Auto oder man nimmt den Skibus. Abendessen im Hotel möglich und sehr lecker.

Das Hotel hat eine Super-Lage – direkt vis-a-vis der hohen Berge und der Gletscher. Und Abends immer ein Lichtergruss von der Mittellegihütte. Die Speiseräume sind sehr heimelig und imposant (Frühstücksraum). Feines Frühstück mit herrlichem Brot und schmackhaftem Kaffee.

Excellent buffet breakfast. We had an apartment for 8 people which was very spacious and perfect for a week of skiing. Perfect, as we could cook dinner in the apartment and have breakfast in the hotel.

Das Abendessen hat uns sehr geschmeckt und auch den Kindern. Die Gastgeberin waren sehr nett und fürsorglich. Unkomplizierte Administrationen. Komme gerne wieder.

Excellent hotel. Amazing, idyllic place. It was exciting to see that Wetterhorn and Eiger are in front of you from the hotel common terrace. The free coffee, tea and hot chocolate etc. are great. Croissant at breakfast is one of the best! People with luggage can take bus 121 or 124 (closer to the hotel but less frequent) from Grindelwald train station. Walk from Grindelwald train station is around 25 minutes, uphill. Very nice experience.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und köstlich. Der Balkon mit Sicht auf die Viertausender direkt vor der Nase ist beeindruckend. Auch dass man gratis Billard spielen konnte, fand ich toll. Unser Sohn besuchte uns für drei Tage. Dazu schlief er in einem Zustellbett in unserem geräumigen Zimmer. Er bezahlte lediglich je 20 Franken für das Frühstück und die Kurtaxe, der Rest war in unserem Preis inbegriffen – ein sehr faires Angebot!

The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and also very dog friendly. The terrace is a lovely place to sit and admire the uninterrupted views with lots of comfy seating. It is in a peaceful location away from the main hustle and bustle but still close to the town.

Was wir toll fanden, war, dass man sich den ganzen Tag Kaffee, Kakao & Tee machen durfte & auch die Mikrowelle nutzen & sich so eine Kleinigkeit zubereiten konnte bei Bedarf (da im Hotel selbst kein Restaurant ist). Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen ☺

Uns hat das Hotel so gefallen dass wir ungeplant für 2 Nächte geblieben sind. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Zimmer für beide Nächte – beide waren einfach toll! Ein grosses Zimmer gut und schön ausgestattet, auch mit Kühlschrank bis zu einer riesen Wohnung mit Einbauküche mit Geschirr, Kühlschrank, Essbereich, zwei grossen Schlafzimmern. Alle unsere Zimmer mit grosser Veranda. Frühstück ist top! Ganzen Tag kann man sich in Essraum kostenlos mit heissen Getränken bedienen – so viel wie man will. Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist grandios. Sehr ruhig, alles ist äußerst bequem und angenehm.Starkes WiFi. Man bekommt eine Gästekarte mit grossen Rabatten für verschiedene Aktivitäten.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter und sehr gutes Preis – Leistungsverhältnis. Gutes Frühstück. Haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Hunde sind willkommen. Zimmer sind zweckdienlich und haben einen Balkon mit tollem Ausblick. Lage ist relativ zentral und doch ruhig. Haltestelle für kostenfreien Linienbus (mit Gästekarte – wird vom Hotel ausgestellt) nur 200 m entfernt.

The room was spacious with a big balcony and outstanding views. The room, bathroom and the whole property is very clean. The hostess Rafaella is friendly, welcoming and helpful. She gave excellent advice and helped greatly with the tickets for Jungfrau.

Location and view are excellent. Great terrace with patio furniture for a superb view of the glacier. Indoor billiards room and Nintendo in case one would like to spend some time in the hotel.

Naprosto úžasné, velice příjemné ubytování – prostě romantika. Personál velice vstřícný, hotel rodinného typu, kdy je zákazník na prvním místě. Velice jsme ocenili možnost občerstvení (káva, čaj a vychlazené nápoje) po celý den. Hotel je umístěn v klidné části, blízko zastávky autobusu. Stále vzpomínáme na snídani s krásným výhledem na vysokohorský masiv, tou dobou osvětlen sluníčkem – no prostě nádhera. Ještě jednou děkujeme za tento zážitek, určitě přijedeme zase.

This was the best hotel in my whole life! Everyone was very helpful and friendly, the hotel is cosy, it has a stunning view and almost everything you need. The terrace is a perfect place to watch both sunrise and sunset!

A traditional Swiss hotel with the most amazing view of the Eiger. Take a pair of binoculars and you can just make out small groups climbing the peak of the Eiger. Breakfasts were great, excellent continental choice, particularly good Croissants. Free hot drinks from great coffee machine 24 hours a day. The staff are brilliant, so helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help out with local information and arranging activities. We were on a motorcycle which unfortunately broke down during our stay. The staff were amazing helping us out, making calls, translating and even offered a lift following the recovery truck to a town 90 minutes away. Thank you for a brilliant stay, we would love to return.

The views are absolutely stunning, nice idea that you can help yourself to free hot/soft drinks at any time. The traditional Swiss chalet was all i expected it to be, with your own balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains. Thanks to Nico for all his helpful advice on the area.

Wundervoller Ausblick von Zimmer-Balkon und Terrasse auf die Berge und Gletscher. Gemütliche Sessel auf Terrasse mit kostenlosen Getränken zur Selbstbedienung. Teleskop für Beobachtungen in den Bergen steht auf der Terrasse zur Verfügung. Alles bestens! Sehr schöner Spazierweg ins Dorf!

Wow – what a place! The hotel is situated just on the outskirts of the village, far away enough to be peaceful and quiet but still within walking distance (with free use of the public bus). The welcome we got on arrival was fantastic, and the room was gorgeous – large, really well decorated and lots of comfy places to sit and relax – important after a few days hiking on the Via Alpina. The stand-out is of course the view – waking up and seeing the sunrise reflected on the Eiger was magical, and from our balcony we had a quiet spot to enjoy all of it. Breakfast was fantastic with the option to sit on the terrace to enjoy more of the views if you haven’t yet had enough! Also really enjoyed the alpine tea selection. We can’t wait to return!

The room was super nice and cozy, not at all like the pictures, but 100000 times better. The view was crazy beautiful, we had a big balcony and the breakfast was to die for. The staff was super nice and helpful. We seriously can’t wait to be back!

It had an amazing view of the mountains! The lady at the reception desk was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains while drinking all the coffee we wanted (included in the price). Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also great! I would definitely recommend it.

Ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Niets was hen teveel. En het uitzicht vanaf het balkon op de bergen en Gletcher is spectaculair. We komen al tientallen jaren in de bergen maar dit uitzicht is weergaloos mooi. Hotel wordt goed schoon gehouden, is netjes etc. En Grindelwald zelf is natuurlijk ook schitterend. Als je komt aanrijden a.h. einde v.d. middag kan je misschien schrikken v.d. hoeveelheid toeristen maar dat verdwijnt met recht als sneeuw voor de zon als je je realiseert dat er zoontzettend veel wandel mogelijkheden zijn. Lauterbrunnen met al zijn watervallen ligt natuurlijk ook om de hoek, bezoek aan James Bond restaurant (Piz Gloria) en St. Beatus grotten (fantastisch mooi) zijn eveneens aanraders. Wij hebben ter plekke voor komend jaar Pinksteren een lang weekend geboekt!

The property was clean and tidy and a walking distance from all restaurants and shops! There was free car parking too which was great as we arrived by car. Rafaella was brilliant. She was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was good too but the best part was the balcony views! Would definitely recommend!

They have a big terrace and the view is amazing! You can enjoy a free drink and the view of the mountains there. You can also walk to the cable car station through a path on the mountainside, I highly recommend it. And with their travel card, you can take the bus for free and get 25% off for the cable car.

Hotel Gletscherblick is een prima overnachtingsplek voor een aantal dagen met Grindelwald als uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in de omgeving. Ontbijt is uitstekend. De kamer was echt basic maar schoon. De mensen van het hotel waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima gratis wifi.

Im Zimmer war genug platz,Frühstücksraum gros und hell,Lage schöne und Ruhig,Parkplatz vor dem Eingang. Frühstücksbuffet war ordentlich gedeckt,Super ist das man jederzeit Kaffee und Tee gratis konsumieren kann.

Die Dame an der Rezeption des Hotels war sehr höflich und nett und gab uns ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Gletscherblick nach unseren Wünschen. Das Hotel bietet auch ermäßigte Fahrkarten für bessere Besuche in der Umgebung von Grindelwald. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, besonders das Rindfleisch und der Käse, die in verschiedenen Monaten fermentiert wurden. Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr ordentlich und die Holzmöbel und Häuser haben einen einzigartigen Schweizer Stil. Darüber hinaus befindet sich der Parkplatz hinter dem Haus, was sehr praktisch ist. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Love the customer service and super clean rooms! The location was perfect, close to downtown but not enough for all the noise! Breakfast buffet was good. The hostes was friendly and professional. I received some many awesome tips to enjoy to the fullest my short stay!! Safe rooms and COVID-19 protection in protocol.

This is a beautifully situated and well cared for hotel in Grindelwald. The staff are welcoming, the rooms homely, and the views stunning. Slightly outside of the centre so tranquil too.

Notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la Jungfrau et l’Eiger, mais de côté. Joli balcon très apprécié. Personnel très très sympa. Si vous êtes en voiture, monter au „Top of Europe“ via la gare de Grindelwald Grund. Parking 5fr la journée entière.

Das Hotel ist Familien geführt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist am Rande von Grindelwald auf einer Anhöhe. Darum schöne Aussicht, jedoch muss man auf dem Rückweg immer den Hügel hochlaufen, für Personen mit Beeinträchtigungen darum eher nicht geeignet. Frühstücksbuffet normal gross, aber wird regelmässig aufgefüllt, so dass immer genug da ist. Der Kaffee ist ausgezeichnet.

Had three friends visiting Switzerland so we took a trip to Grindlewald and chose this hotel after a lot of research. The place was honestly perfect in terms of its location and facilities but what made it even better was the staff who were extremely hospitable and will go out of their way to keep their guests happy!

Tolle Aussicht vom Balkon mit Blick zum Eiger. Ruhig gelegen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Über den schmalen Wanderweg mit schöner Aussicht (Eiger) kann man ins Zentrum spazieren.

Die Aussicht auf den Eiger und die Gletscher sind gigantisch. Sowohl vom Zimmer/Balkon, als auch von der Sonnenterrasse.

Die Lage des Hotels ist kaum zu übertreffen. Nettes Personal und ein gutes Frühstück. Der Zugriff auf die Kaffeemaschine ist ohne Aufpreis den ganzen Tag möglich, dies wussten wir sehr zu schätzen.

Cleaning perfec. Employees the best ever, kind, helpful, always available. The breakfast is very good and the fact they allow coffee, tea, fruits etc during the day for free is a big kindness. Nicely located and lovely rooms, I hade a great view and the calm is really nice. Bathroom big enough. 😊

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und alle wichtigen Informationen unaufgefordert erhalten. Das Personal hat sich flexibel bei der Zimmerwahl gezeigt. Die nötigen Massnahmen gegen die Corona-Pandemie werden gut umgesetzt. Die Jungfraubahn erreicht man zu Fuss über Wanderwege in gut 1/4 h. Der großzügige Balkon lädt ein, den Abend ausklingen zu lassen und von der fantastischen Bergwelt eingenommen zu werden. Dank der herrlichen Ruhe und der angenehmen kühlen Temperatur im Zimmer konnten wir herrlich schlafen. Beim Frühstück wird auf Frische (Brot, Wurst, Käse etc.) und Vielfalt (Joghurt, Flöckli, Früchte) geachtet. Tag und Nacht kann man feinen Tee und frisch gemahlenen Kaffee kostenfrei beziehen – einfach herrlich.

Besonders gefallen hat uns das urig eingerichtete Zimmer mit großen Balkon. Zudem war das Hotel und seine Angestellten sehr zuvorkommend, sei es am Empfang oder beim Frühstück. Kaffee/Tee konnte man sich stets kostenlos holen. Parken und Unterbringung vom Hund ohne zusätzlichen. Zudem kriegt man eine Gästekarte, was kostenloses Busfahren und Rabatt zB an der Firstbahn etc ermöglichen. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vor allem, wenn man sonst für den Preis nur Hochstockbetten und heruntergekommenes Bad hat.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, alles war sehr sauber, coronabedingte Einschränkungen beim Frühstücksbuffet wurden sehr gut gelöst durch persönliche Bedienung am Tisch. Das Hotel liegt an ruhiger, erhöhter Lage mit fantastischem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Notre chambre d’angle avait des fenêtres de 2 côtés et un grand balcon d’où on pouvait jouir d’une vue imprenable. Les lits étaient très confortables. Le personnel était très avenant et serviable.

Amazingly calm and relaxing, very good breakfast, and the best of the best: the staff!! We went there with my wife to celebrate our birthdays that are 2 days apart, and the staff offered us a delicious full chocolate cake! We really appreciated the gesture 🙂 They also helped us to find our way around and suggest activities. They called us while we were out to inform us about the Covid-19 government decision that has just been issued to close the ski stations on the next day, so it was our last opportunity to go to „First“ summit.

What a lovely place to stay we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The owner was so helpful. She absolutely went out of her way to make us feel welcome. It was snowing one day and we decided to stay at the hotel the whole day. We had a cheese platter and the view was fantastic from the sitting room. Breakfast was absolutely the best

Had a great breakfast spread including: cold meats, cheese, toast, fruit, cereals, pastries, yoghurt and juice. Short walk into town and to first gondola. Would happily stay again.

Ein Parkplatz war ebenfalls vorhanden, ohne das dieser vorab reserviert wurde. Der Ausblich auf den Gletscher und die Eigernordwand war genial.

Exactly the kind of hotel you would hope for in the Swiss alps. Great view, great staff, just a great place to come back to after a long day hiking. Short walk down the hill to Grindelwald First (or there is a bus stop just down the hill if you’ve had enough walking or want to go a little further). The breakfast had both lactose free and soy milk which made me very happy.

Very nice stuff and very cozy hotel! We had a room with a view on mountains (not Eiger but still fabulous) and a balcony. The room itself is very neat and beautiful.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is worthwhile to book a room with a balcony because the views are indescribable. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and provide a shuttle service at a reasonable fee. The breakfast is excellent whilst coffee and tea are available throughout the day.

Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf das bestellte Zimmer, eine kleine Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmer, Kochnische und Balkon. Es war sehr groß und so ruhig haben so gut geschlafen. Aussicht war grandios. Frühstück war auch genug da mit viel Auswahl. Perfekt

Excellent coffee machine, available all day and night. Cold drinks and fruit available all day and night, from the dining room fridge. Reasonably priced beer available on room service. Fridge in room, with ice making box. Shuttle service pick up from town, at very short notice (10 CHF). Very quiet and peaceful area of town, with the only noise coming from the fast flowing gorge river. Good reasonably priced restaurant 5 minutes walk away, at The Hotel Alpenblick (from 5.30pm). Very reliable 121 bus to/ from the Alpenblick stop (free with the pass supplied by The Gletscherblick).

This is a beautiful hotel, in a peaceful part of Grindelwald, with a superb view over the mountains and glaciers. The room was comfortable and had a spacious and enjoyable terrace. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. For breakfast there is a wide choice and excellent local breads and cheeses.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful pointing out helpful information. Our room had a large balcony. There are excellent views of the mountains in fine weather. The hotel has free tea and coffee making facilities available any time in the breakfast room. There is a shuttle service which the hotel owners run, 10CHF for the trip which is cheaper than a taxi (14CHF to/from the station) and is an easy way to get to the restaurants and business area or the station about 1.5km away. Breakfast was extensive and very good. The property is serviced by bus (the hotel provides a free pass) but the last bus is around 6:30 – 7pm. Walking back from the local restaurants is not too difficult (but uphill) except if it is raining. Enquire about the shuttle service before leaving the hotel in bad weather.

The view if the Eiger and glacier from our balcony was amazing! The room was large by European standards. So nice to have a frig in the room. Coffee was available, as were snacks, at all times. Front desk staff was very nice. Breakfast was good with a large buffet spread of cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, pastries.

The front desk staff was very friendly to us and gave us a free bus ticket in the local area. Since the hotel is located in the middle of the mountain, it is a little bit inconvenient to go up the mountain. When we check-out, the staff at the front desk specially drove us to the railway station under the mountain. Grateful. In addition, from the balcony to see the snowy mountain scenery is absolutely perfect. I will recommend friends to live next time.

Hôtel situé un peu à l’écart du tumulte du centre, donc très calme. Chambre un peu vieillotte mais très confortable ( on n’avait plus vu de radio de ce genre depuis très longtemps) et literie parfaite… et surtout quelle vue! A couper le souffle ! On ne s’en lasse pas. Personnel très sympathique. Café, thé et soupe à disposition toute la journée. Très bon petit déjeuner. On a mangé une raclette le soir, à volonté ! Parking gratuit. Que demander de plus !

Very nice hotel with stunning view. The rooms are comfortable and the staff very nice. We had a room with a big balcony and an amazing view of the glacier. While a little bit outside and up the hill a really nice place to stay with very good value for money and they even offered a small menu in the evening.

The view from our room is breathtaking, and the staff are so friendly offered to pick us up and drop us off from the station.

We originally booked one night and ended up booking a second night because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Everything about our stay was great. The lady at the front desk was super helpful when I arrived very late in the night, and really helped us plan out our day the next morning. Beds, views, breakfast were all fantastic.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, die Busstation ist gut 100m entfernt. Wir hatten den Parkplatz gerade beim Gebäude – praktisch. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet, das WLAN ging perfekt. Das Personal war nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Toll war das vielfältige Frühstücksbuffet mit den Müesli- und Kernen-Sorten!

A wonderful family-run feeling hotel with the most spectacular location & view of the majestic Eiger & mountains. Great space in the family suits with cooking facility & spacious bathroom, balcony & living area. They had a driver who was very friendly & often fetched us after dinner in town when it rained & the snow turned into slippery ice. Very friendly & informative staff too.

It is not right in the centre of the main street, but close enough to walk to the restaurants, station & main activity centres. A bus stops just down the hill too, but does not run all night.

The views are amazing! The staff is very friendly but not intrusive. The breakfast room and cafe areas are cosy. The breakfast they serve is healthy and filling. They also gave us discount cards for tickets to go up Mt First, which is a popular ski site.

Room is comfortable and reception by staff outstanding. It is close enough to town to be able to walk there in 10-15 minutes. Very quiet. If needed, there is a city bus stop nearby but it runs only once per hour. Continental style breakfast was good.

The air quality is good. It is not recommended to stay on the same hillside for the convenience of Dream House the train station. Hiking and self-driving are preferred. The train station to the hotel is not interesting, and on the scenic road, it is recommended to take the path and walk all the way. The best breakfast is a variety of cereals, as many as 15 varieties of cereals, the meat is selected to taste good. The room is warm. The terrace view is a great place to take pictures. The staff is very friendly and friendly.

Michael LaMorte was wonderful. He did an excellent job and went to great lengths to take good care of us.

The room with balcony was super clean and comfy, and felt like home. The view of the room was amazing. We grabbed our coffees from the kitchen and watched the view.

사진으로 보는 뷰보다 더 좋아요, 방배정 받고 뷰 보자마자 신랑이랑 쿡에가서 포도주랑 치즈사와서 테라스에서 시간을 보냇어요. 너무 좋은 시간이었어요. 화장실도 넓고 깔끔하고 사진으로 보는 거랑 동일하네요, 주인장이 너무 재밋으시고 친절하세요. 엘레베이터가있어서 짐이 많아도 편리하고 방음도 잘되고 좋아요. 이 숙소에 묵으신다면 겨울말고 날씨 좋은 달, 그리고 테라스를 즐기셔야할것같아요. 하루밖에 못 머물러서 아쉬웠네요.. 신랑이랑 부모님 꼭 모시고 다시 오자고 했습니다. 무료 주차가 된다는 점도 너무 좋았습니다. 가족이 힐링하기에는 좋을것같아요.

Super Ausblick auf die Berge. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Kafee wurde bei unserer Ankunft gratis zur Verfügung gestellt. An unserem Abreisetag durften wir das Auto noch den ganzen Tag beim Hotel stehen lassen.

Hotel do którego z przyjemnością szybko wrócimy. Położenie z widokiem na Eiger jest przepiękne. Hotel bardzo przytulny i szczególnie dla rodzin z dziecmi bardzo przyjazny. Właściciel wita zdaniem „Hotel należy do państwa “ to nie są puste słowa. Dwie duże sale śniadaniowe. śniadanie z dużym wyborem (mleko, sery, konfitury wlasnej produkcji) i pomimo wielu gości personelowi nie umyka nic, długo po oficjalnym zakończeniu śniadania wszystkiego jest nadal pod dostatkiem. W sali śniadaniowej jest duży kęcik dla dzieci z zabawkami, święc opcjonalnie można zjeść śniadanie bawięc się z dzieckiem. Muszę przyznać było to dla mnie mega przyjazne i bezstresowe rozwiązanie. Żadko piszę recenzje, ale serdeczność, pomocność i atmosfera hotelu dzięki właścicielowi i personelowi jest godna wspomnienia. Hotel jest położony 2 min od przystanku autobusowego jadącego prosto z dworca. W godzinach póznych właściciel sam przywiózł nas z dworca. Serdecznie polecam wszystkim gorąco to miejsce.

Fantastic views of mountains, valleys and glacier. Beautiful hotel with typical Swiss architecture and lovely vintage furniture in the bedroom. Lots of character and charm which fits in with the environment. Wifi was good and breakfast was delicious with lots of healthy choices. Cable car to Mt First is within walking distance from hotel and route is scenic. A visit to Mt First should be on everyone’s itinerary as there is a cliff walk for those who are not afraid of heights and easy hike to Lake Bachalpsee for those wanting to shed some calories. Michael, the manager, can arrange transport from train station to hotel for those travelling by train. Advisable to use this service as the hotel is located on a hill and walking uphill with luggage can be tiring.

Hotel at great view of the Alps from nearly all sides, Even though we face more the back, we had an endless show of para gliders landing very close. We had free access to a huge terrace that faced the Jungfrau and Eiger with nice lounge chairs and even a beer on the house with snacks, when he locked the door by accident. Staff was very accommodating and even drove us to the station when the main street was closed for a once a year market.

Wir waren zwei Paare, die am zweiten Tag früh aufs Jungfraujoch wollte, unser Wunsch für ein früheres Frühstück wurde sofort erfüllt. Der Empfang war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sauber und der Ausblick vom Balkon Richtung Eiger und Fiescherhorn einmalig. Wir planen nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen.

The location was amazing! It was semi-secluded but still an easy walk into town and to the First station. It was also super child friendly and the owners were really nice!

The hotel exceeded my expectations , it took us less than 5 min at check in and checkout , the location is less thant 20 min driving from the center of interlaken, the view from the room is breathtaking ?, the breakfast is good, they keep it until 11 or sometimes 11:30 , the coffee and snacks is in the kitchen for the whole day, ‏And there is a small play area for kids

Michele, a very pleasant person at the reception, gave us good information on restaurants and useful tips to facilitate our stay in Grindelwald. The room is spacious with a comfy bed and a balcony with an impressive view of the mountain and glacier. The hotel is very quiet, located in a residencial area overlooking Grindelwald (hotel is 10 mn walk from center with shops and restaurants). High quality breakfast with very good bread, delicatessen, cheese, cereals and shell fruits). Grindelwald is a very good location to easily access all the nice spots of Jungfrau region.

Nice staff. New facilities. Room is very clean. You can see a myriad of stars in your bed through the window on the roof.

Pay the extra for a guaranteed balcony with mountain views, you won’t be disappointed. The hosts were brilliant with us and it was a shame we were only there for the night. Beautiful hotel with a stunning backdrop. Breakfast was also fantastic sat on the terrace looking at the views. Definitely the place we’ll stay next time we’re in Grindelwald.

Uitstekend ontbijt en prima koffie en thee en fruit gehele dag beschikbaar. Zeer ruime familiekamer met prachtig uitzicht op de gletsjer vanuit onze kamer en het balkon. Prettig personeel, een mooi ruim terras beneden waar je s‘ ochtends ook kunt ontbijten.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The hotel also has big platform, you can relax and enjoy the view there. And, kitchen is open for 24hrs. Even you can prepare food by yourself.

朝食はテラスからアイガーが眺められ、チーズ、クロワッサンなど豊富。ランチの分まで持たせてくれました、！到着時間を知らせると駅まで迎えに来てくれて、出発の日もユングフラウに行って戻ったら駅まで送ってもらえました。清潔な部屋とても親切で温かいもてなしに感激しました。

I can highly recommend this very nice and lovely hotel with an extremely hospitable owner and a terrace with a beautiful view on Mattenberg peak. I really enjoyed my time there 🙂 The only thing I missed was a hotel bar

A view with a room! The hotel is in a great location. It is very clean, safe and quiet with free parking. A great view of Switzerland from the terrace! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

The view from our room and terrace was awesome and the breakfast was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, apartment spacious and the facilities were great. Having breakfast on the terrace was amazing…we didn’t want to go out. I would highly recommend the duplex Apartment… the best views we had in Switzerland.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in Grindelwald. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstück, ein sehr zuvorkommendes Betreiberpaar, sowie kleine Annehmlichkeiten haben zu einem sehr grossen Wohlfühlfaktor beigetragen. Obwohl ein B&B, wurde ich nach meiner langen Wanderung, doch noch mit einem kleinen, sehr guten Essen verwöhnt. Für mich jederzeit wieder. Ein Geheimtipp.

Der „Hausheer“ begrüßt einen sehr freundlich und stellt einem das Haus in aller Ruhe vor. Gute Tipps, wie man ‚günstig‘ Grindelwald und die Umgebung erleben kann. Man fühlt sich als Gast sehr willkommen! Die Terrasse, der Ausblick sowie das Frühstücksangebot sind hervorragend.

Burası dünya ise biz nerede yaşıyoruz??? Manzara nefes kesici. Otelin işletmecisi bayan çok ilgili ve yardımseverdi. Gün boyu sınırsız sıcak içecek çay ve kahve var. Ayrıca gün boyu mutfağı kullanabilirsiniz dediler. Bizde Akşam yemeğini mutfakta hazırlayıp manzaraya karşı yedik. Kahvaltı açık büfe ve İsviçre de yediğimiz yerel lezzetlerin olduğu en güzel kahvaltı idi. Asansör var. Çevredeki güzel evlerin arasında mutlaka dolaşın.

The mountain view from the hotel room was absolutely breathtaking- made my camera sick from all the photos of the mountains. The staff were so friendly and accommodating which made our stay enjoyable and more comfortable. The breakfast selection was plentiful and excellent, with free hot drinks throughout our stay. As it was summer we were able to take a nice warm stroll around the area and down to the town centre. LOVE this place. Would definitely love to come back!

The view from our room was stunning, looking straight at the north face of the Eiger. and looking over the centre of Grindelwald. The hotel is just outside the main part of the town so it was quiet but not remote. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were a group of six staying in the duplex apartment. The view from the place is awesome. Everything in the room was well organised. Michael was very helpful and jovial. Restaurant is still not operational but we do get decent breakfast. But there are restaurants close-by so it wasn’t really am issue. Overall it was one of the best stays in Switzerland for us.

We had a wonderful stay. The Apartment was very comfortable, with great views from the terrace. Specially Michaelle was very hospitable, caring and guided us tremendously making our stay a memorable experience.

All staff were so friendly and helpful, the view was the best I’ve ever experienced from a hotel room and a perfect balcony to enjoy the sunset

Couldn’t ask for a more spectacular view. It was so beautiful that we picked up food at the market to enjoy a picnic type dinner on our deck both nights. No need to go out to eat with a view like that! The staff was wonderful.

The staff was the best we have ever encountered in our travels. If staying in Grindelwald, there is no better location. We could have spent our entire time on the beautiful terrace. It is quiet, peaceful and there are no better views.

Sonja and staff were very friendly. Was a great base for our summer exploring of the Grindelwald area. We’ll be back soon.
