We combine genuine hospitality with personal service and a unique location in the heart of the Alps. This is what has made Hotel Gletscherblick a special place for our guests for many years.
We brought this paradise back to life.
We – Hanspeter, Irene, Sonja, Andreas and Simon – took on the adventure in 2018. Hotel Gletscherblick had been closed for a few years, but that didn't stop us from bringing this paradise in Grindelwald back to life.
Since each of us has a job and a family, we are not always at the hotel. But our small team is always there for our guests and happy to help with advice and support.
Our house sits at 1100 m in a quiet scenic location. A large terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the lower Grindelwald glacier invites you to linger.

Restaurant
Simple, fresh, made with love.
In the winter season we treat our guests in the restaurant in a simple but warm-hearted way. We use fresh produce and make as much as possible ourselves — vegetarians and vegans will also find something delicious.
Please note: the restaurant is closed during the summer season.
