A warm welcome

We – that is Hanspeter, Irene, Sonja, Andreas and Simon – started the adventure hotel in 2018. The Hotel Gletscherblick was previously closed for a few years, but that didn’t stop us from bringing this paradise in Grindelwald back to life.
Since each of us has a job and family, we are not always to be found in the hotel. However, our small team is always there for our guests and is happy to provide advice and assistance.

Our hotel is situated at 1100 meters above sea level in a quiet, scenic location. A large terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the lower Grindelwald Glacier offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. All our rooms have private bathrooms, and breakfast is included for all our guests.

The Firstbahn and the Pfingstegg Bahn can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes and the bus stop is 5 minutes away. In winter there is a ski bus 80 m from the hotel in the direction of the village or to the Bodmi Arena, where children can have their first skiing experience.

Our hotel has a restaurant where we pamper our guests during the winter season with simple yet lovingly prepared meals. We use fresh produce, and whenever possible, everything is homemade. Vegetarians and vegans will also find something delicious to enjoy. The restaurant is closed during the summer season.

A spacious parking lot is available to our guests free of charge.
