Winter offer 2026/27
Breakfast and dinner included.
From 1 to 23 December 2026 and from 7 to 31 January 2027, half board is included for all guests – breakfast buffet and dinner in our restaurant at no extra charge.
Regular price for half board (breakfast and dinner): CHF 35.– per person, children up to 12 years CHF 17.50.
Please note: Our restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so half board applies from Tuesday to Saturday only and can be booked on site.
Ski & snowboard
The ski area in Grindelwald
Two valleys, three mountain ranges and 211 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes. In the Jungfrau Ski Region snow lovers are truly in their element. This winter paradise beneath the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau offers skiers and snowboarders everything they could wish for.

In winter, various buses take you from our hotel directly to the valley stations Grindelwald Firstbahn, Grindelwald Terminal and Grindelwald Grund. Bus no. 124 even stops almost outside our front door.
You can find the current timetable on Google or on the SBB website. And of course we are happy to advise you on the various options directly at the hotel.
With our guest card or your booking confirmation you travel by bus in Grindelwald for free.
Sledging
Long sledging trails above Grindelwald — the classic end to a winter's day, with sledge rental close by.
Snowshoeing & winter hiking
Marked winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes start all around the house — quiet paths with great views.
Heated ski & drying room
Room for skis, boards, sledges and boots in the heated ski room downstairs — by the next morning everything is dry and comfortably warm.

Our restaurant is open only during the winter season: simple, heartfelt cooking with fresh, mostly home-made dishes — for vegetarians and vegans too.
Half board (breakfast and dinner): CHF 35.– per person, children up to 12 CHF 17.50 — included for all guests from 1–23 Dec 2026 and 7–31 Jan 2027.
Our regional breakfast buffet is included for all guests all year round. During the day we also offer free coffee, tea and mineral water.

Getting here
Easy arrival.
By car: There is plenty of free parking right in front of the hotel.
By train: Travel to Grindelwald station. From there, regional buses run regularly to a stop near the hotel.
